Student Life

Having fun and staying busy is easy when you live on the no. 11 most beautiful college campus in America, which happens to reside in one of the world's most vibrant, diverse and dynamic cities.

There's almost too much to squeeze into 24 hours at Loyola Marymount University. What to do first: a morning run on the bluff or hang with friends over smoothies and caffeine at the Lion's Den? And when classes and internships are done for the day, do you want to catch a basketball game? Whether you're a fitness nut, a committed community service volunteer, a movie buff or all of the above, life is busy, fun and beautiful at LMU.

LMU students are famously friendly, generous, creative, open-minded and eager for new experiences. As a campus community, we perform nearly 200,000 hours of service every year, including ServeLA and the unforgettable Special Games. Your fellow students have their own online TV network and operate one of the most highly regarded independent college radio stations in the country. We support more than 160 student clubs and organizations and root for 22 Division I and varsity teams.
