All Study Abroad Students
To help ensure you are prepared for a safe and successful international experience, LMU requires all travelers to complete the following health, safety, and security requirements before departure. These steps ensure you have access to important resources, emergency assistance, and timely health and security information while abroad. Please complete each requirement by the applicable deadline and before beginning your travel. The deadlines are detailed in your Campus Community Application Portal.
Required Items:
- Complete Health, Safety & Security training course in Brightspace.
- Join the program-specific WhatsApp group (Link & QR code will be provided in the Health, Safety & Security course in Brightspace).
- Download the International SOS Assistance App and create your International SOS profile.
- Complete the International Travel Registry, including:
- Input all flights (including transit airports)
- Upload a copy of your passport.
- Upload your complete flight itinerary.
- No lodging information required
- Attend both the Study Abroad Pre-Departure Orientation for your cohort and the program-specific orientation for your individual study abroad program.
Strongly Recommended:
- U.S. Citizens: Register with the U.S. Department of State's Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP).
