COVID Safety & Campus Access Guidelines for Visitors and Event Guests
Effective May 1, visitors will no longer need to be pre-approved and event guests will no longer need an access placard. Also, Lion Health Check will no longer be required. Read more here.
For events occurring on April 30, 2022 or prior, please refer to the following policies that will remain in place until May 1.
Before You Arrive
Prior to coming to campus, you are required to take your temperature and submit your Lion Health Check. All visitors and event guests over the age of 2 years old must be fully vaccinated* or have received a negative result from a COVID test** collected prior to arrival on campus.
You may attest to your vaccination status or negative test in the Lion Health Check. For those who will be returning to campus frequently, you may upload proof of vaccination in the Lion Health Check for extended clearance to avoid having to re-submit your Lion Health Check prior to each visit.
*Per the CDC and L.A. County Department of Public Health, an individual is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or two weeks after the second dose of Pfizer, Moderna or W.H.O approved international vaccines.
**If providing a negative test result, it must either be:
- PCR test taken within three (3) days of the event OR
- Antigen test taken within one (1) day of the event.
Enter campus from Lincoln Blvd/LMU Dr using the far-left visitor lane. You will be required to show your completed Lion Health Check at the LMU Drive gate. The completed mobile app (showing a green checkmark or green VAX) or the corresponding email confirmation will be accepted. You will also be required to provide your name or show your campus access placard (electronic or printed) if a placard has been issued to you. Those who are not cleared, are not on a visitor list, or do not have a placard are not permitted to enter campus.
LMU Campus Safety is available 24/7 for safety and security concerns and can be reached at 310.338.2893.
