In L.A. County, all groups in Phase 1B are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as of March 1. Phase 1B includes the education sector. The university recommends all eligible members of the LMU community visit myturn.ca.gov to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Read more.

Coming Soon: LMU Ready to Host Vaccination Clinic
LMU recently received approval from the California Department of Public Health to open a vaccination clinic (POD), which we were planning to open on March 1, when the education sector, including faculty and staff, become eligible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, including vaccine shortages in the county and state caused by recent weather-related disruptions, appointments for clinics around the county, including LMU, are temporarily suspended. When the county confirms vaccines are en route, we will notify faculty and staff and open the LMU Vaccination Clinic. Until then, we recommend that the LMU community utilize other county clinics with remaining supplies. Please refer here for more information and to make an appointment.

We remain in frequent contact with county health authorities. Vaccine availability and circumstances are changing quickly, so we will provide further updates soon.
