A Message from the LMU Staff Senate President

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you all for your strength, flexibility, grace, and incredibly hard work as the LMU community faces and adapts to challenging and swiftly-changing circumstances. Amid the upheaval of the last few weeks, LMU staff members have risen to the occasion with creativity, resilience, and support of one another. Now more than ever, I am grateful and humbled to be a member of the LMU community and to work alongside each one of you – even from a distance. It is my hope that we will draw inspiration and encouragement from our shared mission, which gives shape and meaning to everything we do.

As we envision new ways of working and being a community, the Staff Senate remains committed to serving you. We invite you to share questions, concerns, and suggestions with us any time at StaffSenate@lmu.edu. We will also resume our monthly meetings online in April, and as always, we welcome suggestions of agenda items for discussion and consideration.

In the meantime, may you and your loved ones be well in body, mind, and spirit.
Kat Brown
President, Staff Senate
