What's New

Reminder: Campus Restricted to Resident Students and Approved Essential Personnel Only

In adherence with the Mayor’s Safer at Home order and the guidelines provided by the L.A. County Department of Public Health and the CDC, campus access is restricted to resident students and LMU staff who perform essential functions and have been approved by their supervisors to be on campus. All exceptions must be approved and submitted for consideration by your dean or vice president. 24-hours advance notice is required. Note that all academic and administrative buildings are closed and locked. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Adobe Sign to Collect Electronic Signatures

Adobe Sign is a secure paperless solution that eliminates the need for the physical use of paper forms to request and collect signatures. All active faculty and staff are eligible to request an account in order to distribute forms for signatures. Visit ITS Adobe Sign to determine if Adobe Sign is the right tool, to request an account, to attend a Zoom training session, and more.

Technology Support

ITS has created an additional faculty resource that will guide instructors in next steps for course building in Brightspace. For those who want to “level up” and go beyond the basics, please visit Brightspace Tools & Tips.

For faculty seeking guidance with assessment strategies and options for assessing students online, please visit Tips for Online Assessment.

Live Music Every Night

Each evening at 8 p.m., LMU College of Communication and Fine Arts violin/viola faculty Ken Aiso will be performing a nightly, 15-minute concert with accompanist Valeria Morgovskaya live on Instagram at @kenaiso1.
