Daily Update for Faculty With Information on Building Access and Closures
LMU continues to monitor the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and is working diligently to safeguard the safety and well-being of our community. Please visit LMU’s Coronavirus Website (Accessible; En Español) for the latest information.
Building Access and Closures
In support of the health and wellbeing of community members who must continue to work on campus and our continuing residents, we are limiting access to our Westchester and Playa Vista campuses. Academic and administrative buildings will remain accessible until Thursday, March 19 at 6 p.m. for individuals to gather belongings in support of remote work and online instruction. Until further notice, all academic and administrative buildings (those with hard key and One Card access) will be closed and locked. The only exception is University Hall, which will remain accessible from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to facilitate mail and package pick-up from the distribution center and other essential functions. University Hall will only be accessible through the parking garage. If you require access after buildings close on Thursday, March 19 at 6 p.m., please submit a request to your Dean or Vice President. Public Safety will notify your Dean or Vice President if the exception can be accommodated.
