Changes to LMU's COVID Testing Policy

06.03.21
As we begin our phased return to campus and in alignment with L.A. County Public Health Protocols, the safety of our community continues to be a priority. Beginning June 15, faculty and staff with campus access who are not vaccinated will be required to complete a COVID test twice per week at our on-campus testing center. You must submit your tests at least two days apart, but preferably every 3 to 4 days (ex. Monday and Thursday). If you have submitted your vaccination documentation to Vax LMU and are fully vaccinated (two weeks from your last shot), you are exempt from this requirement.

The only exceptions to this testing requirement for non-vaccinated individuals are as follows:
  • Those who are working 100% remote with no plans to access campus or participate in in-person meetings;
  • Those who have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 90 days;
  • Those who are on a scheduled vacation or out sick;
  • Those who are currently isolating or quarantining.
If you are not fully vaccinated:
  • You may use the Rave Guardian App or lmu.edu/covidappointments to schedule your testing appointment. For the testing center's location, hours of operation, and general information, please visit the Testing Center website.
  • If you meet the exception requirements, please submit this form on a weekly basis.
