About the Campus

LMU Playa Vista Campus is Loyola Marymount University’s new creative campus for graduate, professional and interdisciplinary education in the heart of Silicon Beach. The campus will host a range of creative, interdisciplinary events and programming, anchored by the LMU School of Film and Television and its top-ranked graduate programs. The campus also houses the Executive MBA program will serve as a nexus for growing LMU’s partnerships with LA’s booming creative, entertainment and tech communities.

Over half of the 50,000-square-foot campus space is dedicated to the School of Film and Television, and its state-of-the-art facilities for screenwriting and film production will inspire filmmakers to master their craft and find their voice. The space is designed to foster collaboration and See facilities. The campus also includes multi-use event and classroom spaces that will incubate new partnerships between the LMU community and industry.

LMU Playa Vista Campus will build on the university’s already strong relationships in the Playa Vista community. The LMU School of Education works closely with Playa Vista Elementary School to prepare teachers to lead in STEM education. The LMU Center for Urban Resilience maintains Ballona Discovery Park, a beloved local nature preserve. Our academic programs in marketing, entrepreneurship and computer science partner with nearby companies on real-world projects. The LMU Playa Vista Campus will serve as a nexus for future Silicon Beach partnerships that benefit our students, our neighbors, and our world.
