The Los Angeles Rams are once again bringing Training Camp to LMU, offering fans an exciting chance to experience the action up close. Attendees can watch practices, meet Rams cheerleaders and mascot Rampage, and enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities on campus.

This summer marks the second consecutive year that LMU is proudly hosting Los Angeles Rams Training Camp – an exciting continuation of our growing partnership with the Rams organization. We are excited to provide another opportunity for our students to benefit from access to the Rams organization, via dedicated internships and additional yet-to-be-determined academic opportunities.
Hosting Training Camp brings a range of benefits to LMU, including national media exposure, exclusive student internships, and enhanced academic collaborations that align with our strategic vision to extend LMU's reach beyond the bluff. It also allows us to deepen engagement with prospective students, and connect with our alumni, donors, and friends.
As an NFL training camp host, we are joining a select group of colleges and universities nationally to experience the excitement and energy of hosting a professional sports team. LMU is proud to play a role in creating a memorable fan and guest experience while showcasing our beautiful campus to a wider audience.

The Los Angeles Rams will return to LMU this summer from July 14 to Aug. 6. Rams Training Camp presented by Unify will kick off in late July, during the week of July 21. More details including date and times of open practices and information for fans can be found on therams.com/trainingcamp.

The first areas to be impacted are the athletics fields and associated facilities as they are transformed into practice fields and fan engagement areas. In early-mid July, limited academic and administrative spaces will be converted into staff and player meeting spaces.
Please note the following limitations in effect between July 14-Aug. 6:
- Parking: The LMU community will have expanded access to multiple parking areas, including University Hall, Drollinger Lower Level, Rosecrans Lane, Whelan Lane, and Del Rey Undergound, offering greater options across campus.
While the top level of Drollinger lot will be reserved for Rams overflow parking and summer camp pickups, the Drollinger Lower Level will be prioritized for the LMU community and guests. - Loyola Boulevard Entrance Closure: The Loyola Boulevard Entrance will be closed to all vehicular traffic from July 14 to Aug. 6. LMU staff, faculty, and students will be able to access the Loyola Boulevard pedestrian gate on foot by showing their valid OneCard. The entrance will be closed for all other pedestrians.
- Campus Access: From July 14 to Aug. 6, please be prepared to show your OneCard when entering campus at certain times, as the gates may be lowered. Faculty and staff will have access to their offices and research spaces during this time, but may be asked to show their OneCard when accessing certain areas of campus.
For planning purposes, please know that the majority of public practices will be after 3 p.m.
The university teams involved in planning and logistics will continue to reach out directly to impacted campus areas, providing personalized support and guidance to minimize potential impacts.

No, the university will not be implementing remote work this year, however, faculty and staff should anticipate minor traffic delays before and after open practices - typically during the hour before and 30 minutes after each practice. Specific open practice dates and times will be shared once confirmed.

LMUCC operations will not be impacted. As we get closer to training camp there may be additional information shared with LMUCC families regarding pickup on open practice days.

The men’s and women’s soccer teams will be training offsite for the first two weeks of the season. We have also rescheduled their first home matches as away matches. Other fall sports will utilize their training facilities as usual during training camp.

Yes, there will be minimal impacts to summer camps. Camps will take place as scheduled and specific drop-off and pick-up locations will be found on the summer camps website as soon as the information is available.

Yes. There will be eight practice days that are open to the public. You must have a ticket to attend open practices. Ticket registration opens on Wednesday, June 25 at 3 p.m. on the Rams training camp website.

Players will stay in LMU residence halls during training camp.

Special parking guidelines will be in place July 14 to Aug. 6. Please pay close attention to all signage and traffic contol officials.

We are proactively alerting visitors, fans, and the surrounding community that the training camp may only be accessed through the LMU Drive entrance on Lincoln Boulevard. The Loyola Boulevard Entrance will be closed to all vehicular traffic between July 14 - Aug. 6, to minimize any impacts to the neighborhood.
All of these policies are designed to mitigate strain on the surrounding community, and LMU will remain in close communication with neighbors both ahead of and during Training Camp.

On open practice days, we estimate that approximately 3,000 visitors and 2,000 vehicles will be on campus at any given time.

Yes, lmu.edu/rams will be regularly updated, both leading up to and throughout Rams Training Camp presented by UNIFY. Additionally, LMU Community Relations will send frequent messages to the Westchester neighborhood, keeping residents informed ahead of and throughout the duration of training camp. Yes, any LMU community member can attend open practice as long as they hold a valid ticket. Ticket registration opens on Wednesday, June 25 at 3 p.m. on the Rams training camp website.

Yes, selected internship opportunities were made available to LMU students as part of Training Camp. The application process took place in late spring via Handshake. Students selected for these roles will gain real-world experience working alongside a leading professional sports organization.

Yes. While some of our early returning fall sports teams may experience some impact, the campus will be ready for the start of the fall semester on Aug 25. We will communicate directly with impacted groups and provide accommodations as needed.

Yes, the Burns Rec Center will remain open during training camp (see hours here). Keep in mind, on open practice days you may experience delays accessing the facility due to increased traffic on campus.

No. Training Camp's impact on academic courses or research taking place during the summer will be minimal, as the majority of Summer II classes are fully online.
