The Student Health Center is a quality, full-service medical clinic available to all LMU students enrolled in six or more units. It is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory HealthCare. We are
located at the Fritz Burns Center Building adjacent to the Recreation Center, north side on the ground floor level (between the side windows of the recreation center and the swimming pool).

Extended hours most Mondays and Wednesdays during the academic year
How To Make An Appointment
Students are seen by appointment only. To make an appointment, you can call us at 1-310-338-2881 or drop by our office. To make a same-day appointment, students are strongly advised to call before 9:00AM.
Nurse Advice:
For 24 hour health and wellness advice call The Collegiate Assistance Program at 1-866-405-7168. They provide nurse advice, health information and counseling support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
No-Show Policy
Please be aware that we have a no-show policy. This means that if you do not show for your appointment or you are more than 10 minutes late, your account will be charged $25.00. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may miss your appointment and may need to reschedule your appointment for another day.
*If you need to cancel your appointment, please call our office a minimum of 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you have an early morning appointment and would like to cancel, you can call and leave a voicemail message. We will cancel your appointment when our office opens in the morning.
This policy is in place to maximize the availability of our services. A student who arrives late, does not show up, or tries to cancel their appointment at the last minute; deprives other students from valuable appointment time. Repeated cancellations or missed appointments may result in the termination of services.

The health center offers a wide range of services to meet most student needs, including:
- Treatment for illnesses and injuries
- Women's health services
- Dermatological care
- Medications
- Immunizations and allergy injections
- Lab work
- X-rays
Please note that the Student Health Center does not provide services for work related injuries, work related physicals or sports physicals.
