Update on Undergraduate Research Symposium

03.12.20

Dear LMU Symposium Participants and Faculty Mentors,

As President Snyder mentioned in his email on March 10th, the Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium will be migrating to an online format. The Symposium will be held next week on Friday, March 20th in an asynchronous format and Saturday, March 21st in a synchronous format, with opportunities for presentation evaluation and feedback. We will be using the Office of Research & Creative Arts’ platform, Hubb, which was also used for submitting applications and reviewing abstracts. This platform will provide a secure, password-protected conference experience.

My office will be sending out detailed information on how to upload your presentation in Hubb in the coming days, and how to interact with your presentation and others during the Symposium. Please know that we take the security of faculty and student research very seriously; all presentations will only be available for the duration of the Symposium, and only to the LMU community, will not be available for download, and will be doubly password-protected through both Hubb and Box.

For more information on the Symposium, please visit our website at lmu.edu/symposium. Thank you again for your tremendous support, and I look forward to interacting with many of you at the Symposium next weekend.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Wimberly-Young, M.F.A.

Associate Director, Office of Research & Creative Arts
