  • To safeguard community health, and ensure safe and responsible in-person instruction and co-curricular activities, the university is limiting gatherings and permitting only essential visitors or events on LMU campuses. Pre-approved essential visitors are permitted on the LLS campus only if they adhere to school protocolsEssential visitors include:

    • Those essential to instruction, instructional or co-curricular support, facilities operations, cleaning, repair or otherwise essential to university business;
    • Guest lecturers;
    • Those critical to clinic operations, such as clients, experts and other pre-approved guests vital to case management;
    • Prospective students who are pre-approved via the Admissions Office;
    • Others, including:
      • individuals collaborating on research, creative work or teaching;
      • recruiters approved by the Career Development Office.

    Do visitors need to be vaccinated?
    All visitors must complete the Lion Health Check for Visitors and attest that they are fully vaccinated or have been tested with a negative result within the 72 hours prior to their visit to campus.

    What is the process for visitors to be approved to come to the LLS campus?
    As has been announced, all visitors to the LLS campus must be pre-approved, with as much advance notice as possible. While we suggest registering one week in advance, visitors must be registered via email request at least 48 hours in advance to Dept-CampusOperations@lls.edu. The request must include the visitor name, host name and date of visit. The guest must check in with LLS Public Safety upon arrival, even if arriving with a member of the LLS community. The member of the LLS community hosting the guest must meet and escort the visitor from the LLS parking structure to their campus destination. As noted above, all visitors must complete the Lion Health Check for Visitors and attest that they are fully vaccinated or have been tested with a negative result within the 72 hours prior to their visit to campus.

    Will campus be opened further in the near future?
    This visitor access policy will remain in place for the foreseeable future. Updates will be provided as necessary.

  • If you or someone close to you feels unwell, please do not come to campus. Call your health care provider and follow their instructions.

  • As the LLS community returns to campus, we ask that we prioritize the use of campus space for instruction and co-curricular activities, and limit in-person events for non-campus community members to the extent possible. We will continue to evaluate as the semester progresses.
