Patrick Frontiera, Vice President for Information Technology and Business Services

Patrick has been the Vice President for Information Technology and Business Services at Loyola Marymount University since March, 2008. In this role, Patrick is responsible for ensuring that the academic technology, administrative computing, infrastructure technology, information security, and user support teams are providing services that enable LMU's mission.

Patrick chairs the University Technology Council, the university-wide IT governance committee, is the primary staff liaison to LMU’s Board of Trustees Facilities and IT Committee, and is an active participant on several other university governance structures. In 2017, Patrick inherited the Auxiliary and Business Services portfolio. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring that the major university partnerships, including those with the food services and bookstore vendors, best serve Loyola Marymount University.

Prior to his current appointment, Patrick served as the Director for Project Management and Director of Technology at LMU. Before joining higher education, Patrick was the Director of Software Development at a start-up software development company in Santa Barbara, CA. Patrick has a BS in Engineering Physics from Santa Clara University.
