Community Advisory | COVID-19 Updates

03.14.20

LMU continues to monitor the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and is working diligently to safeguard the safety and well-being of our community. Please visit LMU’s Coronavirus Website for the latest information and guidance.

COVID-19 Updates
The university was notified this afternoon that a community member tested positive for COVID-19. The individual is currently self-isolating off-campus and other community members who have been in close contact with this individual have been informed and are self-quarantined. We have consulted with L.A. County Department of Public Health and are following their guidance. Due to spring break, we believe potential community exposure has been very limited. If you are sick or exhibit symptoms, please do not visit campus. Please seek guidance from your healthcare provider. Enhanced cleaning and sanitization of buildings and common spaces continues throughout our campuses. We will keep the community apprised of appropriate updates. For more information on coronavirus, visit the  CDC website.

Staff Guidance Forthcoming
Additional guidance regarding staff working options is forthcoming later this evening.
