CAREER EXPLORATION

Career Counselors assist undergraduate, graduate students and alumni (in person or over the phone) over the course of the career development process with a variety of services and resources including major/career decision making, job searching strategies, interview skills, resume development, career/personality assessments, graduate school advising and much more.

LIONS FOR OTHERS

Lions for Learning is an off-campus program provided by Career Development Services aiming to increase the quality of learning for young minds. The program employs LMU student tutors to assist with in-class and after school programs at a variety of elementary and middle schools in and around the Westchester area.

Faculty/Staff

As a University, LMU encourages students to discover their own strengths, interests and values. Integrating meaningful experiences with the classroom theory promotes the education of the whole person, allowing students to apply the knowledge they gain through their coursework. Findings from our First Destination Survey for the Class of 2010, reveal that 67% of those respondents were employed full-time and 33% were attending graduate school six months after graduation.”
