LMU graduates are members of a network with more than 53,000 Loyola Marymount University alumni who live and work across the US and around the world. LMU Alumni are invited to leverage the strength of this wide network in order to support the career success of fellow alumni and current LMU students.

Be an Ambassador for Career Development Services

LMU Alumni are successful professionals who bring a wide network of contacts within their own circle of colleagues. We invite alumni to partner with LMU’s Career Development Staff by introducing CDS to human resource managers, recruiters, colleagues and executives with whom you have a strong working relationship. Our Employer Services team is experienced in building and caretaking relationships that have originated with a personal referral. When you have established that your colleague has an interest in continuing the discussion with CDS, please drop us an email:

Mentor Students

Networking is one of the most important skills that students can learn in their career development journey. CDS invites alumni to join and build the on-line Lions for Lions Professional Network. Strong LMU connections assist students and alumni in exploring careers of interest, considering internships and identifying employment opportunities. An LMU student or alumnus may occasionally contact Professional Network members to ask you to share your personal career story, ask about your company’s culture or seek advice when considering a particular profession or industry. Usually, this will require about a 20-minute phone conversation or the exchange of 1 or 2 emails. Getting Started is as easy as 1-2-3...

  • Click on the Register tab
  • Complete the registration form
  • Click on the Professional Network tab
  • A LionJobs username & password will be emailed to you within 1 business day
3. Join the Lions for Lions Professional Network
  • Log in using your username and password
  • Complete the professional network and submit Offer an Internship Alumni can grow a strong alumni network and contribute to the career success of current LMU students by providing an internship experience at their place of employment.
For students and employers, the internship is a win-win situation. Through their internship experience, students are able to gain valuable professional experience, to establish contacts with prospective employers and evaluate career related opportunities first hand. The organization, in turn, benefits from the contributions and fresh ideas of energetic and competent students.
