ATHLETICS & RECREATION

In addition to LMU's athletics program, Campus Recreation promotes the education of the whole person by providing the LMU community with programs and services that develop an understanding of physical activity and exercise. We encourage a healthy lifestyle and lifelong interest in recreational activities.

The Burns Recreation Center offers personal training, swim lessons and more.

ACTIVITIES & SERVICE

There are over 140 active clubs and organizations and a Greek community with 15 local chapters. Our students volunteer more than 175,000 service hours a year with 350 community organizations.

Open Mic Night at The Living Room brings out the best talent on campus.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

The Student Health Center and Student Psychological Services are open to current students in an effort to make life on campus a safe and healthy experience. In addition to these services, the Fitwell Center offers nutritional guidance and personal fitness assessment.

Whether you're looking for an on-campus job as a student or need advice preparing for your career after graduation, Career Development Services is designed to help you succeed.

Career Development Services offers career counseling by appointment or drop-in.

Housing

Traditional Halls, Suites, Apartments and Theme and Living Learning Communities are home to the many students who live on campus. For those who chose to live off campus, The Off-Campus Student Life office helps students stay connected to campus life.

More than 3,200 students live in 19 residence halls and apartments on campus.

The Member Services Staff assist with the overall operation of the department, including the coordination of all Burns Rec Center memberships and providing information on all of the programs and services available to Burns Rec Center members. These programs include swim lessons, health and safety courses, locker rental, Tranquil Tuesdays, & personal training. We're ready to assist you with any of your membership needs and concerns.

How To Register

Membership sales take place at the Member Services office, located on 1st floor of the Burns Recreation Center behind the front desk, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (Wednesday from 8am - 7pm). Membership registration MUST take place in person.
Memberships are contingent upon verification of eligibility. Faculty and staff will be verified through the Human Resources department. LMU and Loyola Law Alumni will be verified through the Alumni Relations office. LMU and Loyola Law Students will be verified through the Registrar's office.
Please be prepared to complete the necessary forms and have a picture taken for your LMU OneCard.
Acceptable forms of payment include Visa/MC, student account charge and payroll deduction (for full-time permanent faculty/staff purchasing memberships).

Eligibility and Rates

Effective Dates

The semester dates for currently enrolled students are as follows: Summer (5/7/12- 8/26/12), and Fall (8/27/12-1/13/13), Spring (1/14/13-5/12/13)
All membership for Faculty, Staff, and Alumni is continous until written notice of cancellation is received by member services.

Family Memberships

Family memberships are available for spouses, domestic partners, and children under the age of 18.
