The LMU Greek Council is the co-educational governing body for the 16 chapters of the LMU fraternity and sorority community. It consists of representation from each chapter and a team of executive board members who work on behalf of the almost 1,400 students in the fraternity and sorority community. The purpose of the Greek Council is to promote and maintain a unified Greek community through open and collaborative communication amongst individual members, chapters, and the community. Furthermore, the Greek Council shall serve as the decision making body for Greek Life concerning both internal and external affairs and duly represent Greek Life to the LMU campus. It shall also be the purpose of Greek Council to facilitate positive public relations through interfraternalism and continually assess the goals and the progress of Greek Life.
