Greek Life Administration

On Campus


The LMU Greek Council is the governing body of registered fraternities and sororities at Loyola Marymount University. There are 9 executive board members from various chapters that meet weekly with chapter delegates to discuss issues and ideas.  Additionally, a full-time staff member advises and supports the LMU Greek Council and the 16 registered chapters at LMU.

Off Campus


Loyola Marymount University recognizes that fraternities and sororities of the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC), the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO). Their relationship with the University is based on trust, collaboration, cooperation and the mutual benefits that both the Greek community enjoy.

Greek organizations enhance participation in the cultural, academic, social, and spiritual life at LMU. The individual and group performance by members in Greek organizations should always uphold those values stated in the chapters’ constitutions and rituals. As an area in Student Leadership & Development, Fraternity & Sorority Life is committed to advising and educating both chapter leaders and their membership in achieving personal and organizational excellence.
