Life Threatening Emergencies

In case of a life-threatening emergency, students should call The Department of Public Safety emergency number from a campus phone at 2-2-2 so that ambulance service can be effectively coordinated. If calling from an off-campus phone or a cell phone, students should call 1-310-338-2893. Public Safety can also contact on-campus Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to provide first aid to stabilize a critically ill person. Students are responsible for medical costs incurred during an urgent care or a hospital visit.  It is advisable to check with the facility regarding insurance coverage.

Transportation
