Roommates

When considering a prospective roommate, you may want to keep these thoughts in mind:

  • Are you a morning or night person?
  • What are you study habits?
  • What, where, and when do you eat?
  • Are you a smoker?
  • Do you object to people smoking in the apartment?
  • How will we share expenses?
  • Allergies?
  • How you do you feel about overnight guests?
  • What kind of music do you like?
  • How do you let people know that you are upset?
  • Are you a neat person?
  • Do you mind pets?
  • Do you have any pet peeves?
  • Do you go to school or just work?
  • If you go to school, what year are you?
  • How important are neatness and cleanliness?
  • Are you a very social person?
  • Are you looking for a friend or just a roomate?
  • How long do you intend to stay in the apartment?
  • How do you feel about compromise?
  • How do you deal with conflict/issues?
  • Do you like to talk on the telephone a lot?
