Common Inspection Violations Found
Policy Violations from December 2007 Health and Safety Inspections
The following policy violations were found during the recent health and safety inspections.
- Covered or disconnected smoke detectors
- 2 prong (ungrounded) extension cords/Spider outlets
- Missing or damaged window screens
- Microwaves and toasters in residence hall rooms
- These items are only allowed in the apartments.
- Hanging objects from the ceiling and fire sprinklers
- Drug and/or alcohol paraphernalia
- Candles/Incense
- Pets
- Lounge furniture in rooms.
