Health and Safety Inspections

Health and Safety Inspections are conducted 3 times a year in all Residence Halls and Apartments.  During the inspections, building staff members will check to make sure that the buildings and rooms meet all University health and safety standards.  Here are some of the things the RA's will be looking for during the inspection:

  • Cleanliness
  • Fire Hazards
  • Extension Cords (residents should be using surge protectors)
  • Screens (all screens should be in the windows)
  • Safety issues
  • Extra LMU furniture in the room or LMU property
  • Policy violations
