Team Leader - Sign-up!
WHAT IS A TEAM LEADER???
A Special Games Team Leader is responsible for coordinating coaches and athletes to help them form an enthusiastic, well-informed, and well-organized Team. The Team Leader will collaborate with the Special Games Committee to create an incredible Special Games experience for all who attend the PRACTICE DAYS and BIG DAY!
But really, this is what a TEAM LEADER does:
1. Promotes excitement, spirit, and enthusiasm for the entire team!
2. Advises coaches to maintain unity for Practice Days and Big Day!
3. Keeps in contact with coaches to ensure they are ready to participate enthusiastically!
4. Delivers all pertinent information and updates from Committee to coaches!
5. Participates in all Special Games activities: Practice Day, Big Day, Coach and Volunteer Recruitment, Training Workshops, and Fundraisers!
MANADATORY TEAM LEADER EVENTS
The following events are MANDATORY for all Team Leaders. If you have conflicts, you may want to consider being a coach or volunteer instead, as their presence at these events is not mandatory. Being a Team Leader requires a larger time commitment than being a coach, but it is well worth the effort.
