African American Student Clubs


 

Black Student Business Association
This club orients students into the post-collegiate business environment. Leadership development and civic responsibility are also important activities.

Black Student Union
To serve as a network and support base for African American students at LMU and provide them with an opportunity to grow politically, socially, culturally, professionally, and academically through the adoption of the principles of the African American value system, Nguzo Saba.

Brothers of Consciousness
This organization is designed to serve as a support base for the African American male population at LMU. They set examples of what it means to be Black men by increasing the knowledge of their identity, serving the community and striving for academic excellence.

National Society for Black Engineers
The purpose of NSBE is to develop intensive programs to recruit its members into engineering and the science careers. NSBE works as a networking organization, which aids members in obtaining employment after graduation.

Righteousness for Christ Fellowship
This organization works to develop leadership skills and an awareness of the responsibility to participate in public affairs. It works to edify, encourage, strengthen and build up believers in the Word of God and to pursue peace, happiness and fulfillment in this life and the life to come.

Sankofa Society
The purpose of this organization is to serve as a network and support group for those students interested in fulfilling Sankofa while attending LMU.

Sistah Friends
The purpose of this organization is to support the academic, cultural, social, ethnic and spiritual needs of undergraduate women of African descent at LMU.
