Asian and Pacific Islander Student Association (APSA)
Established for the purpose of establishing a unified voice for the Asian and Pacific Islanders of Loyola Marymount University, and creating an awareness of the issues concerning the Asian and Pacific Islander community beyond and on campus. apsa@lion.lmu.edu
Black Student Union(BSU)
To serve as a network and support base for African American students and provide them with opportunities to grow politically, socially, culturally, professionally, and academically through the adoption of the principles of the African American value system. bsu@lion.lmu.edu
Brothers of Consciousness(BOC)
BOC serves as a support base for the African American male population at LMU. They set examples of what it means to be Black men by increasing the knowledge of their identity, serving the community, and striving for academic excellence. boc@lion.lmu.edu
Chicanos for Creative Medicine
Our mission is to support students in their academic and career goals. We encourage students to pursue careers in the health and science fields and to increase awareness of health problems through community service. clss@lmu.edu
De Colores/ Campus Ministry
LMU students participate in community service projects in Tijuana, Mexico by working on a school, home, or community center with local leaders and families. De Colores hosts monthly trips to do service on the other side of the border. clss@lmu.edu
Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. (DST)
This sorority strives to confront problems of all people and demonstrate itself as a public service organization. El Espejo

Gay Straight Alliance (GSA)

Ballet Folklorico de LMU
At over 35 years old, Grupo Folklorico is one of the oldest organizations on campus! Grupo is composed of current LMU students as well as LMU alumni who practice weekly and perform at LMU and at off-campus events. Ballet Folklorico is a traditional Mexican dance performed with a mariachi. Grupo Folklorico performs throughout the school year at various events. clss@lmu.edu

Kuumba Beatz
Kuumba Beatz is an organization that supports the context of Loyola Marymount University’s mission statement, with primary tenets encouraging the promotion of education and the development of the whole person. Specifically, Kuumba Beatz is an organization deeply rooted in the Black/African-American community, and serves to provide the LMU community with a program encouraging the appreciation for diversity, creativity, understanding, and excellence through music and dance. obss@lmu.edu
Kyodai

Latin Dance Group
The LMU Latin Dance Group is an open environment in which any student, undergraduate or graduate, can learn the skills of the dances of Latin America, such as Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bachata, Tango, and a variety of other Popular Latin Dances. The Latin Dance Group allows students to interact with other members who love to dance and allows for the opportunity to learn more about Latin American Culture. It is open to students of all skill levels and knowledge of Latin dances and no partner is required.

Na Kolea
Na Kolea acts as a vehicle to ease the transition of the island students to California and college life and also as the preservers and Ambassadors of the Aloha Spirit. The force which moves the people of Hawaii and guides in their everyday lives, and that which makes Hawaii unique. Na Kolea teaches various facets of Hawaiian culture, history, dance and issues to the members of Na Kolea and the LMU community. The club shares the culture and heritage of Hawaii and its people with both Hawaiian and non-Hawaiian students at LMU. apss@lmu.edu

The mission of the South Asian Student Association is to increase awareness and educate the Loyola Marymount University community about South Asian culture and heritage, creating an environment in which students are encouraged to explore and experience South Asian culture. Underwings Praxis Organization
The mission of the Underwings Praxis Organization is to promote justice oriented education for students at Loyola Marymount University through a process of immersion and accompaniment with members of the community of Boyle Heights.
