- Advocate on behalf of students of color
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment for African, African American, American Indian, Asian, Asian American, Pacific Islanders, Latino, and multiethnic students.

EIS Programs & Services address the following Student Affairs Learning Outcomes:
- Adopt lifestyles that reflect a balance of spiritual, physical, and intellectual health.
