Professional/Student Mentorships: Pathway To Success

Students participating in the program, develop a formal relationship with a professional in a specific area of study. Throughout the academic year, protégées and mentors engage in one-on-one conversations, structured programs and professional activities. Participation in the program is selective and limited to 20 students. Applications are available on-line and through Career Development Services.

“This is a great opportunity to meet someone in the field that I am interested in and learn what worked for them, what didn’t and if this is the right career for me. They will be able to give me insight to what the job is really like on a day to day basis and what to expect.”

Lindsey Richmond, ‘08

“Being able to learn from the experiences of another person…is something that a classroom setting cannot always provide. I want to be paired with a mentor for this reason.

Alicia Mikolaycik ‘07
