African American Alumni Association
The African American Alumni Association (AAAA) and AAAA Scholarship Fund were established in 2003 by a dynamic assembly of Loyola Marymount University (LMU) alumni, faculty and staff. While fulfilling LMU's mission of service and leadership, AAAA also promotes and fosters a sense of community between our African American students and alumni through professional development and social networking.

AAAA Scholarship
The African American Alumni Association awards partial tuition scholarships every year to outstanding Loyola Marymount University students who demonstrate academic achievement, financial need and a commitment to the African American community.
Since its inception the scholarship fund has raised over $60,000.00; much of which has come from individual donors and alumni gifts. Scholarships are awarded to select students who have completed the scholarship application process, and who meet the criteria of having an unmet financial need, participate and demonstrate leadership through their service to the LMU community and in their extra-curricular activities.
