On Tuesday, June 7th, 110 alumni, parents, and incoming freshmen and their
parents gathered at New York
City's Metropolitan Club, to meet each other and with
University President Robert B. Lawton, SJ. The evening was
celebrated with warm New York
spring weather, and brought smiles to the faces of all in
attendance. Notably present were former LMU President James Loughran,Trustee
and current Fairfield Univ. President Jefferey Von Arx, and Regents
Myles Dempsey, Peter Cheung and Thomas
Viola. The LMU Alumni Association would like to
thank all those who attended and extend a warm thank you
to our NYC planning
committee, Laura Williamson, Dr. Stephen Harris, Barbara Morrisey-
Marquez, James Cortez, Stephen Caggiano and James Keane
S.J., for helping
to make this event a tremendous success.
