Emergency Communication

LMU Alert 
  • LMU Alert is a system that allows the university to send important information and instructions during a campus or area-wide incident or emergency; the university utilizes phone calls, text messages, and/or email to send LMU Alerts.  For more information, visit www.lmu.edu/alert.
  • LMU may also utilize a public address system to provide information to learning spaces and offices.

LMU Emergency Hotline

  • In an emergency, information may also be provided on the LMU Emergency Hotline: 866.568.2968.

Website

  • Emergency information may be posted on the university's website, www.lmu.edu.
  • The LMU website may be transferred to an off-campus remote site if access to the LMU web is interrupted. The web address will remain www.lmu.edu.
