Candidacy for Alpha Sigma Nu and Application

If you have received a letter of invitation on behalf of Dave Burcham, President of Loyola Marymount University, then you are invited to apply for membership in Alpha Sigma Nu, The Honor Society of Jesuit Institutions of Higher Education. Membership is limited to those students in Jesuit institutions who rank in the top 15 percent of their classes. Each chapter may nominate no more than 4 percent of the junior and senior classes from each school and college of a university. The method of selection for LMU consists of a complete application (see below) that is reviewed by the chapter officers, and is based upon the candidate's scholarship, loyalty, and service. Our chapter seeks to identify the most promising students of LMU who demonstrate an intelligent appreciation of and commitment to Jesuit ideals. Selection to Apha Sigma Nu is one of the highest honors awarded at LMU and on Jesuit campuses throughout the country and the world.
