Donna House

Message from the President

Nov. 29, 2012

Dear LMU Community:

It is with sadness that I inform you of the passing of Donna House, who was a 35-year LMU employee and the recently retired administrator coordinator for LMU’s Air Force ROTC program. Donna died after a long battle with ovarian cancer on Wednesday, November 28, at her Westchester home. She was 72 years old.

Col. Chuck Corley, the commander of LMU’s ROTC detachment, said that Donna’s vast knowledge and contacts throughout the university provided invaluable continuity to the scores of Air Force personnel who served at LMU but moved on every two to three years. Col. Corley also said that Donna was valued for her warm personality and the lasting friendships she maintained.

Donna is survived by two daughters, Erin House ’88 and Kerry Hughes ’91, and a son, Brian House ’93. Service arrangements will be announced.

Please keep Donna and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

David W. Burcham
President
