Hundreds of Loyola Marymount University faculty, staff, students and friends of the university turned out for the 2011 Jet to Jetty Run/Walk/Bike for Health on August 20 at Dockweiler State Beach, Playa del Rey, Calif.

LMU sponsored 100 runners – including faculty, staff and students – and the university won the awards for the largest team and the fastest team. All proceeds went to Airport Marina Counseling Services, a nonprofit, community-based mental health clinic that serves the Westchester/LAX, South Bay, Westside and South areas of Los Angeles.
