Iggy Rocks at July 4 Parade
Iggy, LMU’s mascot, was a favorite among the children present at the Annual July 4 Parade in Westchester, Calif. last week.

LMU alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends collaborated to make LMU’s float, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” a hit. More than 35 participants rode the float and/or danced their way down Loyola Blvd. as part of the entry, making it LMU’s biggest entry.

The event is organized by the LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce. “We are proud to support the chamber in this great community event,” said Clarence Griffin, director of community and government relations at LMU.
