Magaly Lavadenz, Director of the Center for Equity for English Learners (CEEL) at Loyola Marymount University (LMU), has been awarded by the U.S. Department of Education for a partnership with three school districts in southern California (Lennox School District, Culver City Unified School District, and Wiseburn Elementary School District) to create Project STELLAR: Teaching for Critical Transitions.
