Jul, 07 Motivated by Students: Screening of Biological and Synthetic Compounds for the Discovery of Substances that Prevent Amyloid Formation
 Dr. David Moffet, Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, has been granted an award to screen biological and synthetic compounds for a means to prevent Amyloid formations, which is aggregation of proteins that form insoluble plaques leading to Alzheimer's Disease and Type II Diabetes.
