Fellowships and Scholar-in-Residence Award
One of the world's largest sources of funding exclusively for graduate women, the AAUW Educational Foundation supports aspiring scholars around the globe, teachers and activists in local communities, women at critical stages of their careers, and those pursuing professions where women are underrepresented. The AAUW Educational Foundation invites letters of intent from colleges and universities in the United States to fund a female scholar to conduct a research project on issues related to gender equity in education and/or economic security for women and girls.

The Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture in Duke University’s Special Collections Library acquires, preserves and makes available to a large population of researchers published and unpublished materials that reflect the public and private lives of women, past and present. The MARY LILY RESEARCH GRANTS are for research using the collections held by the Sallie Bingham Center. Grant money may be used for travel to the Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library, costs of copying pertinent archival resources, and living expenses while pursuing research there.
