Grants Program
The National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) is a Denver-based, nonprofit foundation dedicated to helping Americans acquire the information and gain the skills necessary to take control of their financial lives. The grants program seeks innovative research and research-based development projects that can make a profound contribution to the field of financial literacy. Inquiries from disciplines in fields as diverse as behavior, economics, neuroscience, sociology, psychology, marketing, finance, education, change theory, decision sciences, and others are encouraged. Project outcomes should be actionable in the field of financial literacy, directly relevant to the financial well-being of the public, and have the ability to be applied broadly.

Sustainable Vision
SUSTAINABLE VISION GRANTS are exploratory grants that will fund innovative educational programs that move ideas to commercialization for the benefit of the environment and people in need. Support will be given to programs that apply effective and sustainable technology entrepreneurship to address poverty and environmental degradation, and/or meet basic human needs such as clean air and water, nutrition, health care, and shelter.

Ray M. Sommerfeld Outstanding Tax Educator Award
The American Taxation Association (ATA) of the American Accounting Association (AAA), in cooperation with the Ernst & Young Foundation, presents the Ray M. Sommerfeld Outstanding Tax Educator Award to recognize, honor, and reward outstanding contributions by a faculty member teaching taxation at a recognized academic institution. The selection criteria are intentionally broad to allow the Awards Committee to consider the relevant contributions by the nominees in determining a worthy recipient.
