Nathan D. Woods is Director of the Washington D.C. office of Welch Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in labor economics and statistical analysis. Dr. Woods serves as a consulting and expert witness and supervises economic and statistical research projects requiring the construction and analysis of large statistical and analytical databases. He has a Ph.D. in political science from the Claremont Graduate University’s School of Politics and Economics.  

His published research concerns the application of statistics to answering questions surrounding political representation, public opinion, and participation. His research is published in The American Political Science Review, The Journal of Politics, Urban Affairs Review, The American Review of Politics, National Civic Review, PS: Political Science & Politics, and as chapters in three edited volumes.
