Internationalization of the Introductory Statistics Course - Can It Serve a Dual Purpose?
In this project, I plan to design an Introductory Statistics course, the principles of which will be illuminated using exclusively international data sets. I then plan to examine the question whether such a course can be used to teach both the principles of statistics as well as to impart knowledge of the global economy to undergraduate students. At the end of the project, I will summarize the results in the form of a research paper and submit it for publication consideration to an academic journal.
