Campus Ministry promotes spiritual growth and faith formation on and off campus.

  • Our programs are created to encourage learning, to care for the whole person, and to foster the service of faith and the promotion of justice.
  • Rooted in the University's Roman Catholic identity and the heritage of our sponsoring religious communities, Campus Ministry's outreach embraces people of all faith traditions.
  • Campus Ministry truly is a place to belong, to believe, and to become.

Programs and Activities

  • The Retreat Programs at Loyola Marymount University continue to support the service of faith through its various retreats. Because faith is both communal and uniquely individual, many styles of retreats are offered to appeal to the diverse spiritualities of the university population.   Click here to learn more about our Retreat Programs.
  • All of our Service and Justice activities and opportunities are designed by student leaders, with assistance from staff. Student leadership development is a high priority. Theological reflection is a key component in all our community service programs. Ultimately we see service and justice as an on-going commitment to integrate faith and justice, and to live in love with the poor and with each other.  Click here to learn more about our service and justice activities.
  • Christian Life Communities (CLC) stands on its three pillars of Community, Spirituality, and Mission. LMU has the largest and most involved CLC in the world.  We strive to build community through small groups and community events. Spirituality is fostered through these small groups where the spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola is reinforced through reflections and prayers. Click here to learn more about CLC.
  • Liturgical Ministry creates an opportunity for students to understand and shape the sacred liturgies of the Church. All university liturgies, from the daily masses to the Baccalaureate, are student coordinated under the direction of the Liturgy & Music staff.  It is our wish that these experiences will contribute to the formation of our students as lay leaders in their home parishes, and in the greater Church.  Click here to learn more about our Liturgical Ministry.
  • The mission of Sacramental Preparation is to guide those individuals who choose to participate, and indeed the entire LMU Faith Community, to a conversion of heart, an orientation to prayer, a life of service, and a commitment to proclaim the Word in speech and action. It is a continuous journey into dying and rising in a Spirit-touched community. Click here to learn more about our Sacramental Preparation.
