What are the LionsFund Pregame Receptions?
The Pregame Receptions are a special way for LionsFund donors to celebrate prior to men's basketball home games.
Who is invited to the home Pregame Receptions?
Donors who contribute over $250 to LionsFund in a 12 month period.
How do I know if I am eligible?
Donor passes that grant access to these receptions are mailed out November 8. New donors will receive a card within 2 weeks of their donation. If you do not receive a card, but believe you are eligible, please contact LionsFund at golions@lmu.edu or 310.338.2926. In addition, a list will be at the door for donors who have not yet received their pass.
Why the change from halftime to pregame?
As many of you know, we have outgrown the Founders Room in Gersten. We are also spending the year celebrating some wonderful people in LMU Athletics history during halftime who deserve our full attention. Moving the receptions allows us to expand the time frame, spread out in the beautiful new ADG Conference Room in the Lions Athletic Center and to allow everyone to enjoy our halftime entertainment. This new format also allows us to bring in special guests including LMU coaches and special guests from LMU Athletics history.
Will I have to choose between attending the LMU Tailgate or the pregame reception?
There will be five tailgates this year and each will begin 2 hours before the game. Pregame receptions will begin one hour before the game so you can easily enjoy time at the tailgate before attending the reception. For more information on tailgates, click here.
