An annual celebration held in mid-May of each year, the LMU Golf Classic and Dinner Auction has become one of the premier events on the Loyola Marymount University calendar.  Held at Mountain Gate Country Club since 2004, the Golf Classic has gained recognition as one of the top higher education golf tournaments in all of Southern California.

In its fourteenth year in 2007, the LMU Golf Classic and Dinner Auction again was a huge success with 208 players during the day and over 240 attendees at the evening dinner and auction.  Over $70,000 was raised in support of student-athlete scholarships, raising the event's total raised to over $600,000 in its 14-year history.
