Katherine A. Dzida ’07 comes from a family with a history of giving back to LMU, and she is continuing that tradition. Her mother, Maria ’74, M.A. ’95, her father Steven ’71, LLS ’74, and sisters, Christine ’05 and Laura ’09, each support LMU in their own way. Katherine began practicing philanthropy during her senior year when she served as co-chair of the Senior Class Gift Committee. “So many benefactors have had an impact on our education,” says Katherine. “And now we’re called on to have an impact on the education of future LMU generations.”
Katherine continues to support LMU as a member of the Young Presidential Associate (YPA) Leadership Council where she helps to recruit and retain young leadership donors. She credits LMU with helping her “grow as a woman of faith, a lifelong learner and a teacher.”
