Seniors - Stand out in a crowd . . . jump start your career today.
Career Development Services offers:
- Career Counseling- Meet with one of our career counselors to discuss career expolration, personalily/career interest assessments, career-decision making, resumes, inteview, job searching, and networking. Drop-ins are available daily.
- Mock Interviews- Prepare for an interview by conducting a taped mock interview with one of our career counselors. Practice responding to industry specific questions, recieve feedback, and learn to improve your interviewing skills.
- Internships- Gain hands on experience, explore career opportunities and introduce your skills to potential employers through an internship experience. Internships are on-going.
- Etiquette Dinners- Companies who sponsor the CDS Etiquette Dinner are invited to attend and interact with LMU students. The dinner will teach LMU students how to network over a meal and learn international dining etiquette.
- Job postings- Log on to LionJobs (http://lionjobs.lmu.edu/students) to view job listings. Available positions include full-time, part-time, work-study, and internships.
- Resume Critiques- Learn how to present yourself in words on paper or via e-mail. This session presents the basic requirements and includes extra tips you need to know before writing (or revising) a great resume and cover letter
