SPECIAL NOTICE
A record number of applications have been received for Fall 2012. As of April 2, 2012, all incoming applicants for the University Honors Program will be added to our waitlist. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.
Current LMU Freshmen Are Welcome to Apply
The University Honors Program is now accepting current LMU first year students for the 2012-2013 academic school year. These students do not need to complete the online application.

Early Action Candidates All Early Action students accepted and designated HONORS AT ENTRANCE are automatically accepted to the Honors Program. Early Action HONORS AT ENTRANCE students need only sign and submit the Honors Compact in order to be officially enrolled in the Honors Program.
Students who apply for Fall Early Action and do not receive Honors at Entrance may submit the Honors online application.
Regular Decision CandidatesAll Regular Decision applicants interested in the Honors Program must submit the online Honors Application. No Regular Decision applicants receive automatic admission to the Honors Program, except for students selected to receive Trustee or Presidential Scholarships. (See below.)
For Regular Decision, applications will be reviewed beginning March 1, 2011. Those who have their application submitted by that date will be considered at that time. The result of the March 1 review will be announced by March 15. Those who apply by April 2, 2011 will be considered in a second application review round and notified of results by April 16. A third review of applications will take place on May 7, with results announced by May 21. If a student’s application is not accepted during the first round, it may be considered during the proceeding rounds of applications.
Trustee and Presidential Scholars
Trustee and Presidential Scholars are not required to complete an online Honors Application. These students are automatically accepted to the Honors Program, and will receive the Honors Compact along with notification of their scholarship. The student need only sign and return the Honors Compact to be officially enrolled in the program. Enrollment in the University Honors Program is not required of Trustee and Presidential Scholars.
Transfer Students
Students who studied in an honors program prior to transferring to LMU may enter the program after consultation with the Director of Honors and the Director of Transfer Admissions.
