Saturday, February 20 - Sunday, February 21, 2010
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This course examines the creation of postural yoga in the modern age. New scholarship points to physical culture, New Thought, Occultism, Hindu nationalism, and Orientalism (in its various guises) as part of matrix that shaped Hatha Yoga for mass consumption.
