A Concert of Music for Balinese Gamelan


The LMU Program for World Music welcomes you to an afternoon concert of new and traditional music for Balinese gamelan angklung.

The Program for World Music in the Loyola Marymount College of Communication and Fine Arts cordially invites you to a concert of Music for Balinese Gamelan featuring LMU Gamelan-Kembang Atangi under the direction of Paul Humphreys, and Gamelan Sili Ganti under the direction of Geoffrey Dent.  This concert will feature African drumming and dance from the Volta, Ashanti and Northern regions of Ghana; and, also premiere a new work for gamelan angklung and sitar by Paul Livingstone.  Learn more by visiting the World Music program online.
